Stacy Young, Maid of Honor, sister of the bride

Stacy is Crystal's younger sister. They grew up doing everything together from showing cattle, 4-H, public speaking and ballet, although sharing clothes never quite seemed to work out! They were certainly each others competition, but always had each others back. It is always nice to have someone right there by your side. Stacy lives in Edmonton, Alberta, an hour away from where Crystal and Stacy grew up.




Dana May, Bridesmaid, friend of the bride

Dana and Crystal met through the American Angus Association. As Dana was finishing her last year on the National Junior Angus Board of Directors, Crystal was starting her job with Angus. The two quickly became friends, and have since shared hotel room at all kinds of livestock shows. Dana is often referred to the third wheel of Jon and Crystal's relationship. Crystal likes to tease Dana that  she is her liberal, Democrat friend, and however Crystal is very proud of Dana accomplishments as she works towards her Ph.D. in Psychology.


Abby Jones, Bridesmaid, friend of the bride

We are pretty sure it was fate that brought Abby and Crystal together. After hearing many stories about each other from multiple mutual friends, Abby and Crystal finally ran into each other one fall in Louisville at the North American. From that point on they have been best of friends. Abby is also know as a third wheel of Jon and Crystal's relationship. I am sure Abby, Dana and Crystal cause Jon to shake his head sometimes. Abby is a honorary K-State Wildcat and has attending many K-State outings with Crystal. It must have rubbed off as Abby now works for the Beef Cattle Institute on Kansas State's campus.


Kristi Bishop, Bridesmaid, friend of the bride and groom

Kristi what part of the reason Crystal and Jon crossed paths. Jon and Kristi were close friends through the American Junior Hereford Association and in college at Oklahoma State University. Crystal and Kristi crossed paths through the junior cattle events. Their friendship continued to grow with an annual trip to Stillwater, Okla., for Calf Fry a Red Dirt Country Music festival. Although, Kristi was a little shock when Crystal inquired about Jon, she now says it makes perfect sense.

Jaci Barber, Bridesmaid, sister of the groom 

Coming into a family with only one girl can sometimes be a little intimidating. However, Jaci has opened Crystal with open arms and they have had many opportunities to bond during karaoke sessions,  golf games, Star Lake sales and Jaci introducing Crystal to Anderson Dairy's Party Dip. Jaci recently had her own wedding and Crystal and Jon and now excited to celebrate with her again.
